Kip Moore fans will have to wait a little bit longer for the much awaited second album from the country music crooner according to a news report from The Boot today, April 11, 2014. The much anticipated release of the second album was scheduled for next month in May, but that date has been pushed back to sometime "this summer."
Moore apparently is the one that pushed the release date back. He has gotten a hold of new music that has him re-thinking his selections to go on his next album. Moore strikes me as a perfectionist, and this seems to be a big decision to personally make and record the best cuts on his follow up album to "Up All Night."
Fans will be happy to know that they will not have to wait until the new album is released or a week before the release date for Moore's next single to be released. Moore is promising to release "Dirt Road," his next single within the next couple of weeks. Moore promises that "Dirt Road" will be intense and not at all what fans will be expecting!
Moore is just coming off a nomination for best new country artist of the year from American Country Music Awards. He lost to fellow country music artist Justin Moore.
Moore's success with his first album is due to many of his experiences growing up in a small town in Georgia. He infuses his personal experiences in life in his songwriting that others can easily relate to. Moore wrote or co-wrote 11 of the songs on his debut album.
"Up All Night" produced several hit singles for Moore, including "Beer Money," "Somethin' 'Bout A Truck," and "Hey Pretty Girl." While fans are waiting for the new album to hit the stores this summer, they can enjoy a collection of Kip Moore’s videos by clicking here.
