Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) continues to work with Congressman Dan Lipinski (IL-3) in getting people back to work. Both members of the Illinois House joined a grassroots movement of conservatives, liberals, and other bipartisan legislative members that are committed to problem-solving. The group has been organized by No Labels and was unveiled Monday at the No Labels Meeting to Make America Work! in New York City.
“The Problem Solvers group is a big deal,” No Labels Honorary Co-Chair Senator Joe Manchin said. “They can help break the gridlock and blame game that have become so pervasive in Washington, where people have developed an attitude that you’re only worth talking to if you’re on my team – the Ds or the Rs. We’ll prove that ultimately, we’re all on the same team – America.”
No Labels, works to promote problem-solving in politics with people, no matter what their politics are, who are willing to collaborate with one another to solve the real issues present today in America. Started in 2010, they have already recruited dozens of members of Congress and thousands of supporters across the country.
In Kinzinger’s first term, he and Lipinski authored bipartisan legislation that overwhelmingly passed through the House known as the American Manufacturing Competitiveness Act, to boost this vital sector of the economy. Working together, Congressmen Lipinski and Kinzinger are committed to getting the bill signed into law this year to revitalize manufacturing in America and help create good-paying, stable jobs for the middle class.
