There was little backstage drama surrounding this taping which you would never otherwise know unless the LA Rock Examiner was right on scene. Another band (who shall remain nameless for now) did not show for their taping session. Ever the professionals, Kinky gracefully filled in the gap by arriving hours ahead of schedule on very short notice. Kinky is a band you can truly respect. It's also fun to note that Harcourt was especially pleased with the very cool new shoes he wore during the taping of this interview.
Kinky is a five member band originally from Monterrey, Mexico which consists of members Gilberto Cerezo, Ulises Lozano, Carlos Chairez, Omar Gongora, and Cesar Pliego. Their music is a mixture of rock, dance, and techno, but the Latin influence pours through each song. They sing mostly in Spanish but some of their songs contain lyrics in English. The band currently live in Los Angeles.
