The new year is off to a roaring start, with many artists releasing new music! In fact, three of the shows listed here are CD release shows. Get ready for some new music in the week ahead:

Monday, January 21 – For the Sake of the Song featuring Arthur Alligood, Hannah Miller, and Levi Weaver at The High Watt, 9p.m. – free

Tuesday, January 22 – The Lonely Biscuits EP release show at 12th & Porter, 8p.m. – $5 cover, EP included.

Wednesday, January 23 – Cloudeater with Kink Ador and Yumi and the System at The Basement, 9p.m. – $5 cover

Thursday, January 24 – Marathon Music Work Open House, featuring Brazilbilly, 6p.m. – free. For more info, and to RSVP, click here.

Friday, January 25 – Alanna Royale record release show at The Basement, 9p.m. – $7 cover. Also featuring Maureen Murphy and Daniel Ellsworth and the Great Lakes.

Saturday, January 26 – Jeffrey Steele at 3rd & Lindsley, 8p.m. – $15 cover

Sunday, January 27 – Don Schlitz at Puckett’s in Franklin, 7p.m. – $12 cover.
