Klipsch Audio is putting the great and powerful Kings Of Leon on the road between February and March (so far) with more dates to come as they are booked to promote their latest record release: Mechanical Bull.
Kings Of Leon is one of those can't miss alternative rock bands that we all so very much enjoy. Caleb and his brothers have been giving us quality alt-rock since '99, and for that, we're all very thankful.
The baritone that Caleb delivers to the incredibly intricate and always smooth bass lines that Jared brings to light, on top of the lead guitar that follows from Matthew, and the underrated drums performed by Nathan come together as a culmination of not only great musicians, but but as well great performances.
As far as local tour dates go for the NJ area, the closest the band is coming to us will be in New York (venue TBA) on Feb. 14, and Philadelphia on Feb. 19.
New dates are still expected to be booked as was said in the official social media announcement, as the tour currently covers 16 dates between Feb. 5, and March 8, but nobody's overly optimistic that they'll hit the Starland Ballroom on their east coast leg.
For now, get on their facebook page and demand them if you want to see them perform out here. Never doubt that your voices will not be heard, or that they can not bring about great change, and remember, get yourself out there.
Tickets go on sale Nov. 1st for all dates between Feb. 5 and 19, which includes both the NY and Philadelphia shows, and the Feb. 21 through March 8 tickets go on sale Nov. 2, which will include dates in the capital, Boston, and Chicago just to name a few if you're going to be in those areas next year.
We'll see you in '14, gents.
