The world’s longest inverted roller coaster, “Banshee,” isn’t the only major new attraction at Kings Island this summer. There are several other exciting park highlights being unveiled on Memorial Day weekend. There’s a new show, called “Cirque Imagine,” as well as the opening of Soak City Waterpark – both will make their highly-anticipated debut today, on Saturday, May 24.
Of course, the thrill that everyone’s been waiting for, Banshee is already receiving rave reviews from roller coaster fans all over the world. As the world’s longest inverted roller coaster at 4,124 feet, riders will experience seven inversions at speeds up to 68 mph.
With “Cirque Imagine,” park visitors will have a chance to become mesmerized by the acrobatic performances featured in this all-new live show. Produced by Quebec, Canada-based Les Productions Haut-Vol, the performers offer a breathtaking show full of strength, balance and athleticism.
Presented in the Kings Island Theater, the show will run six days a week (off on Mondays) through August 17. The approximate 30-minute show appeals to guests of all ages and is included with the price of park admission. Seating is limited in the theater and guests are encouraged to arrive early.
After visitors take in the rides and a show or two, they can experience a day of water fun at Soak City Waterpark at Kings Island. Soak City features more than 50 family-friendly water activities, including 30 water slides, tropical lagoons, two wave pools and children’s play areas. Soak City Waterpark is also included with park admission to Kings Island.
Guests can also enjoy the outdoors by relaxing in lounge chairs, cabana rentals and premium seating. Various options are available for guests to choose from.
Another great feature this season at the waterpark are the Friday night Dive-In Movies. On Friday night’s, beginning on June 20 through July 25, Soak City Waterpark will feature Dive-In Movies, which will begin at dusk in the Tidal Wave Bay area.
