Kings Dominion, in Doswell, Virginia announced on Thursday, that they are planning on hiring around 4,000 seasonal workers for the upcoming season. They are accepting applications; looking for people to fill openings that include merchandising, games, rides, admissions, guest services, food and beverage, first air and security. They are looking for entry level personnel as well as supervisors. You must be at least 15 years old to apply.
Their Human Resource Director, Greg Talley said, “Kings Dominion is looking for high-energy, outgoing individuals who want to have fun, yet work hard at the same time to provide our park guests with the best entertainment experience in the region.”
They are also looking for people for their entertainment team, which includes, actors, dancers, singers, characters, technicians, theater attendants, stage managers and supervisors. You can apply online or attend one of the park's two entertainment audition dates. They are scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2013 and February 16, 2013 at the Kings Dominion Theater.
This is the 39th season for Kings Dominion, and it starts on March 29th. They are working on a multi-million dollar expansion of Planet Snoopy. This is an expanded childrens area that will cover almost 14 acres and offer eight new rides.
