Kings beat Flames 6-2 on Saturday

The Calgary Flames continue to struggle playing with any sort of consistency this season.

On Saturday night in southern California, according to TSN, Justin Williams led the Kings offensive attack with a goal and two assists in a 6-2 win over the Flames.

Slava Voynov (three assists), Colin Fraser and Anze Kopitar (a goal and an assist each) also had multi-point games for the Kings, who seem to be very comfortable at the moment in the Western Conference.

The Flames meanwhile were in the hockey game over the first two periods, only trailing 4-2, but could not rebound after Kopitar put the Kings up by three goals early in the third period.

With the loss, the Flames are five points back of the San Jose Sharks for a playoff spot and are sitting in twelfth place in the Western Conference with a record of 9-10-4.

The Flames are not moving anywhere for now as they will take on the Kings again on Monday night before returning home to play Detroit on Wednesday.
