On Friday, January 18th, the Los Angeles Kings officially announced their 23 player team roster.
In alphabetical order -
14 Forwards:
Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter, Kyle Clifford, Colin Fraser, Simon Gagne, Dwight King, Trevor Lewis, Jordan Nolan, Dustin Penner, Mike Richards, Brad Richardson, Anthony Stewart, Jarret Stoll, Justin Williams
7 Defensemen:
Drew Doughty, Davis Drewiske, Matt Greene, Alec Martinez, Jake Muzzin, Rob Scuderi, Slava Voynov
2 Goaltenders:
Jonathan Bernier
Jonathan Quick
* Note - Both Anze Kopitar and Willie Mitchell begin the season as Injured Non-Roster players. The return of either, or both players, will affect the players currently rostered.
The Kings will open the season with a 12:00 pm PT start at home today vs Chicago Blackhawks.
During pregame ceremony, the players will receive their championship rings, and the first Stanley Cup banner in team history, will be raised to the rafters.
