Kingdom Hearts series tops 14 million units shipped

Square Enix today revealed that their popular RPG series, Kingdom Hearts, has shipped more than 14 million copies worldwide. The games feature an overarching story that also involves Disney and FInal Fantasy characters. Here are the main Kingdom Hearts titles released so far: 

Kingdom Hearts (Playstation 2)
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (Game Boy Advance)
Kingdom Hearts II (Playstation 2)
Kingdom Hearts Coded (Mobile)
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (Nintendo DS)

Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II were re-released with added content in Japan. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories was also remade on the Playstation 2 with 3D graphics and other extras.

The latest title in the series will be Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, which is slated for released on September 9th exclusively for the PSP. You can view the latest screens from the upcoming PSP title in the slideshow below:
