Square Enix has announced the playable demo details for the upcoming PS3 exclusive game, "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix." According to a report from Attack of the Fan Boy on Aug. 3, the publisher revealed that attendees at the upcoming GamesCom convention are going to be able to play the latest compilation based on the popular role-playing series. To accommodate for the large crowd, Square Enix will be setting up 180 demo stations.

The publisher is also providing playable demos for two other games. The first of which is "Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris," a follow-up to the top-down vantage point adventure game called "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light." The upcoming downloadable game, which is being released on Dec. 9, is going to add a four-player cooperative mode, a first for the franchise.

The other demo will be for "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn." The inclusion may be somewhat surprising considering that the massively multiplayer online role-playing game already came out for the PC and PS3 last year. The PS4 version was also released earlier this year. Square Enix is still updating the video game with new contents, however, so the company may want to keep old players subscribed while recruiting new users at the same time.

The biggest game that is being showcased is still the aforementioned "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix." The compilation includes "Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix" and "Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix." Both director's cut versions were never released outside of Japan. The cut scenes from "Kingdom Hearts Re:coded" are added to the collection as well.

European players will have to wait longer than the two other main regional fans in order to buy "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix." The software product is coming out first in Japan on Oct. 2 and then in North America two months later on Dec. 2. The European region is going to get the same game on Dec. 5.
