Despite having a ridiculously long name, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix has seen a warm reception. There's certainly a lot to love: the collection's got a ton of content, it's a great price, and they fixed the abysmal camera from the original version - a true recipe for success.
Square Enix has certainly taken notice: the next HD collection, called Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, has been confirmed for release. The game, which is set to release on the PlayStation 3 some time in 2014, is similar to its predecessor: instead of only including KHII and nothing else, there are two other games on the disc: KH: Birth by Sleep and KH: re:Coded.
The announcement isn't really much of a surprise, considering that its existence was teased during the credit sequence of KH 1.5 HD. Regardless, the KH 2.5 HD package already sounds pretty tempting, especially when considering the wealth of 'never-before-seen-in-America' content the disc will have come release.
We'll have more on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix as we continue towards its 2014 release date.
