'Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix' priced at $39.99

On Feb. 25, Square Enix announced via The PlayStation Blog they would be releasing “Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix” in Europe and North America this fall. We have information regarding the release, as well as trophy support and voice options, but the one thing we haven’t known about was the price.

However, thanks to the recently posted listing for the upcoming title on Amazon today, we can now tell you that it’s going to cost $39.99, the same as every other HD collection released in the past. However, if you are worried about this being a placeholder price and will rise upon launch, keep in mind that Amazon has a pre-order guarantee, which means whatever you pay now for a pre-order is what you’ll pay when the game is shipped (unless it goes cheaper).

Amazon also shows a box art for the game, but it’s more likely than not a placeholder, since it simply sports the logo and an RP ESRB rating. The September 30 release date could also change, since it falls on a Monday, and could most likely be October 1.
