'Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix' coming to North America and Europe

Square Enix confirmed on Feb. 25 that “Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix” will be released in Europe and North America this autumn, according to an entry found on The PlayStation Blog.

The new collection, which was first announced last year at Tokyo Game Show, will bundle together the first installment of the “Kingdom Hearts” series and “Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories”, both of which have been remastered in high definition and will include trophy support.

While we don’t have an official release date for the bundle, we do know that the title will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive. Rumors about the game heading to the West have been circulating since Jesse McCartney, the voice actor behind Roxas, revealed he was back in the recording studio a month ago.

While this is big news for Kingdom Hearts fans, some are still waiting for localization of other Kingdom Hearts titles, such as “Final Mix”, while others are hoping for a “Kingdom Hearts 3” announcement for the PlayStation 4.
