Set to release in the Fall of 2013, it looks as though PlayStation 3 will see a Kingdom Hearts by the end of its lifetime. When pictures leaked via a Jesse McCartney’s Twitter account, many were excited for a third-installment or even just an HD remake. Announced 2/25, SquareEnix unveiled Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix via the PlayStation Blog.
Mentions of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 story, Re:Chain of Memories, and 358/2 sprinkled the announcement’s page followed by: “All of this is included with full Trophy support in one spectacular release. Plus, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX includes the once-exclusive KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX content, like new enemies, weapons, abilities, cutscenes, missions and more!” This will be the first time anyone outside of Japan will experience Final Mix.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will release exclusively for the PlayStation 3 this Fall.
