The latest trailer for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance has been released, revealing the beloved Disney worlds that Sora and Riku will venture through on their quest to become Keyblade Masters. The worlds featured in the trailer include:
- Prankster's Paradise (Pinnochio)
- The Grid (Tron: Legacy)
- La Cité des Cloches (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
- Country of the Musketeers (The Three Musketeers)
- Symphony Of Sorcery (Fantasia)
Kingdom Hearts 3D follows long-standing protagonist Sora and his best friend Riku, as they attempt to pass their Mark of Mastery exam and become true Keyblade Masters. Because saving the known world twice, apparently, doesn't count. Wizened sage Yen Sid has Sora and Riku save several "sleeping" Disney worlds to earn their Mark, and to prepare them for the return of the evil mastermind Xehanort.
Kingdom Hearts 3D, like all games in the series, features unique cameos from popular Square-Enix titles. The cast of the Nintendo DS action-RPG The World Ends With You replaces the more traditional Final Fantasy cast this time around, many of which pop up at various points throughout the trailer.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is scheduled for release on the 31st of this month in the States, and only on the Nintendo 3DS.
