Tetsuya Nomura has provided an update in regards to the gameplay development of the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One video game, “Kingdom Hearts 3.” According to a report by Kotaku on Oct. 23, the game director made a short comment to fans at this week’s issue of the Famitsu gaming magazine.
Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that the recently-released trailer was the first gameplay footage for the latest mainline “Kingdom Hearts” video game. However, he also stated that the development team behind the project is still not satisfied with the quality. As a result, the staff members will try to further improve the sequel until they are satisfied. You can check out some screenshots from the action role-playing game in the slideshow near the top of this article and his statement below (courtesy of Kotaku):
This is the first gameplay footage of Kingdom Hearts 3 that we've released, but [Kingdom Hearts 3] is still nowhere near a state that the staff is satisfied with, so we're going to continue to strive improve the quality.
The first gameplay video of “Kingdom Hearts 3” shows off several combat scenarios. Players will be able to control Sora in a three member group that also includes Donald and Goofy. During combat, players can summon several theme park rides such as a rollercoaster and pirate ship.
“Kingdom Hearts 3,” which was announced earlier this year for the PS4 and Xbox One, appears to be still in the early stages of the development cycle. The long-awaited final chapter to the saga currently does not have a release date time frame announced.
