The potential "Frozen" cameos have been discussed for the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One video game, "Kingdom Hearts 3." According to a report from Gaming Bolt on Aug. 24, Tai Yasue revealed that he would personally like to include the popular movie in the next installment of the series. However, he was not willing to officially confirm that "Frozen" will indeed be a part of the third main title of the franchise.
Tai Yasue did state that he would like to create a world that will be similar to The Land of Dragons from the "Mulan" level in "Kingdom Hearts 2." The co-director would also like to include the musical features that were found in "The Little Mermaid" world. Square Enix has not yet reveal any Disney-themed worlds that will be added in "Kingdom Hearts 3." However, early videos did confirm that Twilight Town, which was created just for the video game franchise, is returning for the sequel.
For 2014, Square Enix is going to be focusing on the upcoming release of "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix." The second remastered compilation comes with "Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix," "Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix" and "Kingdom Hearts Re:coded" with improved visuals and other enhancements. The collection is coming out first in Japan on Oct. 2. The North American release is scheduled for Dec. 2 while Europe is going to get the same title on Dec. 5.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected to come out after "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix." An official release date time frame has not yet been announced and it has been some time since the last official video was shown for the sequel. However, Square Enix did reassure fans that more about the third main installment, along with "Final Fantasy XV," should be shown by the end of this year.
