More details have been disclosed by Tetsuya Nomura regarding the combat system in the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One video game, “Kingdom Hearts 3.” According to a report by Enix Origin on Oct. 24, the game director talked about the influences behind the new attraction flow maneuver.
The new element is inspired by “Flowmotion,” a gameplay feature that was introduced to the series with the release of “Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance” on the Nintendo 3DS. In the third main installment of the series, Sora can use different Disney attractions during battle sequences. Among the possible rides include a roller coaster and pirate ship. You can check out some of the latest screens from the action role-playing game in the slideshow near the top of this article and the comments from Tetsuya Nomura below (courtesy of Enix Origin):
The second is the Disney attraction inspired Attraction Flow. Attraction Flow is an evolution of Kingdom Hearts 3D’s Flowmotion. With Attraction Flow, you can choose which move you want to use against which enemies on the spot, and even during an enemy outbreak you control Sora’s attacks.
Although the first gameplay video was recently shown for “Kingdom Hearts 3,” the game director hinted that the project still has a long way to go. He promised that the quality will be improved by release.
The sequel was confirmed for the PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year. Sony’s new console will be coming out on Nov. 15 while Microsoft’s next-generation system is expected to launch on Nov. 22. On the other hand, Square Enix has kept quiet on the release date for “Kingdom Hearts 3.” You can pre-order the products from Amazon in the following links: “Kingdom Hearts 3,” PS4 and Xbox One
