King The Kid Announces New Summer Single

Pop-rock trio King The Kid announced via their acoustic StageIt live concert early this morning that they were releasing a new single, which is part of the series of new music that they have been creating over the past few months. The single, titled "So Long (My Lover)," was played acoustic on their VIP RV parties on their last live tour and during the show this morning following their announcement. "So Long (My Lover)" will be released via iTunes on May 6th and they confirmed that there will be a music video, which they will film sometime this month.

The three plan on touring the east coast throughout May and June on the Sink or Swim Tour, serving as the opening act at all of the shows for Against The Current, and all dates can be viewed below:

  • May 24: Toronto, ON (Sneaky Dee's)
  • May 25: Montreal, QC (Le Petit Olympia)

  • June 1: Vienna, VA (Jammin' Java)
  • June 3: Cleveland, OH (Agora Ballroom)
  • June 4: Indianapolis, IN (Irving Theater)
  • June 5: St. Louis, MO (The Firebird)
  • June 6: Joliet, IL (Mojoe's)
  • June 7: Pontiac, MI (The Pike Room at The Crofoot)
  • June 8: Pittsburgh, PA (Smiling Moose)
