The meeting was begun with the usual prayer, pledge, and founders quote but with a slight surprise with a guest leading the prayer instead of Mark who normal leads the prayer.
Katherine Engelbrecht in her usual innate ability to inspire did just that with a quick briefing of mistakes made in the past and a renewed focus for the future. She then proceeded to introduce the first of three speakers, Matt Armstrong.
Matt was very articulate at promoting independent patriotic duty and not duty to a party. He highlighted the fact that the parties work for us, not us working for the parties. He also stressed the need for us to end our infighting and come together to improve the future of our country.
The second speaker was Anita Moncrief and she continued the theme of coming together and to leave behind our differences. She only spoke briefly but she succinctly made her points that we will come together and revive this country through grassroots unity and a clear plan and direction. Anita is a former Acorn employee turned whistle blower and currently travels and speaks the truth from her inside perspective.
Between speaker Katherine further explained the future plans of King Street Patriots and True the Vote. She announced that they were reaching out to other like groups to offer the use of the faculties of King Street patriots/True the Vote to bring more people in the grass roots movement of spreading truth. She reminded us of the blessings we have as Americans and the fact that we have plenty to look forward to as a country.
Next Katherine led into the next guest by briefly describing the organization founded by Brandon Darby, Hannah Giles, Katherine Engelbrecht, and Andrew Breitbart known as CPR (Citizen Patriot Response). Brandon came on to speak about CPR and how it can play a large part in the future of uniting people toward the common cause of saving our nation. CPR was designed to be group that helps the less fortunate that isn’t being served by the existing groups that have been corrupted by greed and helps their organizers’ and not the people in need. In his normal form Brandon rallied the membership with his heartfelt presentation.
