King's X, coming to Trees (Photos)

King's X was scheduled to play at Trees last March, but tragically the show had to be cancelled. Jerry Gaskill, the drummer of King's X suffered a major heart attack on February 26th, leading to heart surgery. His bad luck in 2012 was not over - after making a full recovery, tragedy hit Jerry once again when his home in New Jersey was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. But, now it is 2013 . . . . . and King's X is back! This has been a great year so far, and it keeps on getting better. The trio will play Trees on Thursday, May 16th. Dug Pinnick, on lead vocals and bass, and Ty Tabor on guitar and vocals complete the group. If you have never seen King's X, you do not want to miss this show. This band is made up of three extremely talented musicians who create incredible music together. They have a totally unique sound. An incredible example of the kind of music that they make can be heard here in "Over My Head".
