King Barack Obama declares: I am Oz! The Debate on Obamacare is over!

See also

Earlier this week, Main Stream Media was all abuzz about President Barack Obama declaring the debate on Obamacare, aka the Affordable Care Act (ACA), was over. And Main Stream Media fawned all over these meaningless numbers President Obama and the Proponents of Obamacare keep spewing. Yet one number that was the major foundational premise for why the entire traditional American healthcare system must be overhauled, is suddenly no where to be found. And we will revisit and emphasize that number later in this article.

As an aside to the adherents to the American Tradition of the Democrat Process, this writer is well aware of the various rebuttals to this seemingly tyrannical assertion. Undemocratic, Unconstitutional, a violation of Natural Law, etc. but these arguments seem useless to explain to President Barack Obama.

Yes, this writer is aware that slavery and prohibition were once the law of the land, and were later repealed upon further debate. But it appears President Obama is unaware of this history and, still further, that President Barack Obama subscribes to some other rule than that of Natural Law, upon which this country was founded.

“In transgressing the law of nature, the offender declares himself to live by another rule than that of reason and common equity"

John Locke, Second Treatise of Government, Ch.2, 8

Despite the King Barack Obama's proclamation of no more debate on Obamacare, aka Affordable Care Act(ACA), this writer is going to invoke Natural Law and a subset of Natural Law known as the Rule of Law, to revisit the debate.

The Rule of Law asserts that "All persons in our country are to be subject to one set of laws uniformly enforced and judged without regard to wealth, position or status".

A Foundational tenant of the Rule of Law regards contracts. Any contract in which material misrepresentations were made to at least one party is null and void. And in this country, in which all people are created equal, this same tenant of the Rule of Law must also equally apply to our President and our Law Makers aka Congress.

Others will want to revisit "You can Keep your doctor, you can keep your insurance company and it will be cheaper" as Prima Facie evidence of the material fraudulent representations made in inducing an alleged majority of Americans to support Obamacare, aka Affordable Care Act (ACA). And while these are valid points, this writer will put forward the two grossest material misrepresentations of fact made by the proponents of Obamacare aka the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

The first of these has to do with the fact that issues with traditional healthcare were purposely not fixed. And these unfixed issues were foundational premises as to the need to overhaul the entire traditional American healthcare system. And perhaps this writers often tweeted quip best reflects the nature of the fraudulent representation:

If Republicans and Democrats hadn't kept taking Campaign Contributions and/or bribes from Insurance companies and hospitals, traditional healthcare would have been fixed & eliminated their premise for Obamacare

Don Mashak on Twitter @DMashak(truncations and hashtags removed)

Deliberately not fixing traditional healthcare and then declaring that the issues that Congress refused to fix as the basis for needing Obamacare, aka Affordable Care Act (ACA) is either a deliberate fraud or a material misrepresentation of fact.

With that, let us now address the number that has suddenly disappeared from the debate.

That one number was allegedly so large that it required a complete overhaul of traditional healthcare as no simple patch work of fixes would do. This number was "the number of persons who wanted healthcare but could not afford it".

Initially Proponents of Obamacare, aka Affordable Care Act (ACA), cited various numbers representing the extent of these folks who allegedly wanted but could not afford healthcare. The initial number that sticks in this writer's head is 16% or about 49 Million people. However, when pressed proponents of Obamacare dropped this number to 8% or approximately 24 Million folks who allegedly wanted but count not afford healthcare. The other 8% of the original 16% being folks who did not have nor wanted healthcare coverage, often young folks 18 to 28 years of age.

But instead of this number being emphasized in President Obama's declarations of success, we hear other numbers. 6 Million, 7 Million, 8 Million. But, as this writer has previously pointed out, these numbers seem to be meaningless strawmen which were arbitrarily set up so they could be easily knocked down?

Obamacare Transparency? What does six million mean? http://t.co/jlueIJBaXx

So the only real number that matters is the number the entire overhaul of traditional healthcare necessitating its replacement with Obamacare, was premised on.

Of those 24 Million persons that proponents of Obamacare, aka Affordable Care Act (ACA), allegedly said wanted but could not afford Obamacare, how many are now signed up and covered?

Given the alleged dire need of Medical attention for these 24 Million persons, we would expect that a large number of them would have flocked to coverage very shortly after the coverage was available. Especially those who would have been covered for free or heavily subsidized.

So President Obama, "What is this number? How many folks who said they wanted but could not afford Obamacare are now signed up and covered??"

The number this writer has heard is 1.25 Million(1,250,000). President Obama, "Is this accurate?"

The point being that if the number of folks who wanted health coverage but couldn't afford health coverage is really this low, then this major premise for the complete overhaul of traditional healthcare was a major material misrepresentation perpetrated upon the American Public. Forget, keep your doctor, keep your health insurance, cheaper; We don't even get to that point if a fraudulent representation is not made about how many people wanted but could not afford healthcare.

And knowing this, this writer percieves President Barack Obama's commands that the debate on Obamacare is over akin to a used car dealer declaring to the buyer of a lemon that "You bought the car, don't bother me no more"

If the number really is 1.25 Million folks wanted but could not afford healthcare, the debate is not over. Obamacare then is null and void, not just for fraud, but on Common Sense.

If only 1.25 Million people wanted but could not afford healthcare, reform of our healthcare system should occur as follows:

  1. Repeal Obamacare, aka Affordable Care Act (ACA);
  2. Create a Safety Net program for the 1.25 Million folks that said they wanted but could not afford healthcare(This writer is aware another misrepresentation was the omission that most states already had a safety net for these folks, in Minnesota, it was known as Minnesota Care.);
  3. Fix the deficiencies in traditional American Healthcare that were only not fixed because Democrats and Republicans kept taking campaign contributions and/or bribes from hospitals and insurance companies not to fix them.

And with that, this writer closes by saying to the proponents of Obamacare, either put up or shut up. Put up the number of folks WHO SAID THEY WANTED BUT COULD NOT AFFORD healthcare. That would be those folks from that 8%, not the 92% who either had coverage or had used their free will in deciding not to purchase health insurance.

Those were my thoughts.

In Closing:

Thank you, my fellow citizens, for taking your valuable time to read and reflect upon what is written here.

If what is written here rings true to you, perhaps you should contact your local elected officials and let them know. If you are afraid of repercussions, snail mail it anonymously and ask them to respond in the local paper or their own monthly/quarterly internet newsletter. Even if this article refers to something outside you geographic area, it still likely applies to your location. Remember all those taxpayer training junkets we taxpayers send the bureaucrats on? They all learn the same “livestock management” techniques to use on WE THE PEOPLE.

And that leaves WE THE PEOPLE with this conundrum: While our #Government works full time with compensation and funded with our money for the cause of #Tyranny; WE THE PEOPLE are forced to work part time without compensation for the cause of #liberty with what is left over of our time, money and energy.

Finally, this article is written with the same intentions as Thomas Paine http://ushistory.org/paine. I seek no leadership role. I seek only to help the American People find their own way using their own “Common Sense” http://amzn.to/kbRuar
