Welcome back horror fans and fanatics. After an extended down time to work on our first full feature film and catch up on the local horror scene, I’m back. I couldn’t think of a better way to come back than with resounding repeat title clinch from last year’s King of Halloween, Mr. Josh Lewis.
For those of you who remember, the Lewis’s claimed the 2010 King of Halloween title with a yard full of original props and handmade haunts. However, just when you thought you had seen it all, he came back in 2011 to blow us away.
Moving back to my home town in Fennimore, Wisconsin I was fully aware that I was going to have to bring a pretty impressive Halloween arsenal to even hold a candle to the Lewis family frights. Try as I did with our busy schedule, I was simply no match fro the sheer volume of terror that the Lewis house brought to our little farm town.
Your approach begins with a stop at a full sized ticket booth complete with zombie handing out tickets. Then you’ll stroll through the cemetery with headstones honoring some of the greatest filmmakers of all time. Werewolf head on a spike, Freddy grilling up some bits and pieces, a smoking grill, a pond creature, coffins housing ghoulish creatures, and the list goes on and on.
I suggest you swing by the Lewis home in Fennimore, Wisconsin before the begin to take it all down, and if you can’t, enjoy the pictures that I took and put up here for your viewing pleasure.
I hope you all had a very happy Halloween and I look forward to bringing you the latest in local and national horror news again.
