Kindle Fire sales top 1 million + devices per week, says Amazon.com

These $199 Kindle Fire devices on Amazon.com are surely a hit with customers.

And with Amazon still having shipping options as of this writing that can get a Kindle Fire into consumers hands by Christmas Eve, I see why people are buying them by the boatload.

The $199 price tag is a lot more doable for some people when compared with a fully-loaded $799 iPad 2 (I love my iPad 2!) -- and the Kindle Fire can also make a great gift for a younger person, as long as it's well-supervised or folks figure out how to block certain sites and only allow them to play on safe sites.

"Amazon.com today announced that Kindle devices remain the hottest products this holiday season," read a recent press release. "...for the third week in a row, customers are purchasing well over 1 million Kindle devices per week, and Kindle Fire remains the #1 bestselling, most gifted, and most wished for product across the millions of items available on Amazon.com since its introduction 11 weeks ago."

Yowza.

As an Internet Marketer, I'm thinking of ways to get in that app store and do more research into the Kindle Fire app market -- because I just read an article about just how easy it is to buy stuff through your Amazon account on the Kindle Fire.

That's one thing of the many things that I really love about Amazon: I mean, they made it so easy for me to do my Christmas shopping, what with that shipping address account manager that lets me see all the addresses and people I've shipped to previously.

I don't have to go dig out my credit card and find some shipping addresses for people, because they are already on Amazon! Love them. Kiss Jeff Bezos right in the mouth! :-)
