Kimberly Perry and J.P. Arencibia tie the knot in a Tennessee wedding

It was a beautiful spring day as country singer Kimberly Perry married her baseball player fiancé, J.P. Arencibia, yesterday evening. According to E! News on Thursday, the couple exchanged vows at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, Tenn.

The couple said their ‘I do’s’ in front of friends and family, including Perry’s two brothers that make up the rest of The Band Perry, Reid and Neil. There were also a few other famous faces as well. Fellow country star, Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, were both seen heading into the church for the ceremony. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were not spotted, but rumor has it that they were also in attendance.

Arencibia, former catcher for the Texas Rangers, asked the 29-year-old singer to marry him last September at her parents’ home. The new bride said that he got down on one knee on the front porch and that it was romantic and perfect. They met in Florida in 2012, which is where the baseball player was raised. He seemed to be a little smitten with Perry, being a fan of the music of The Band Perry. His connections supposedly led to the twosome eventually meeting and the rest is history.

The wedding had been anticipated sometime soon but Perry and Arencibia never spilled an actual date, just that it would be this summer. They sure did keep their special day under wraps, that is until the town of Greeneville started noticing all of the hubbub going on.

In fact, the Channel 11 news team caught a glimpse of Kimberly Perry in her wedding dress heading into the church. She looked quite gorgeous and happy on her special day. The blushing bride was being shielded by guys holding up umbrellas trying to keep reporters from seeing too much. You certainly can’t blame her as this is a private moment with her groom and their family and friends.

The newly wedded couple will most likely have a short honeymoon as The Band Perry has a show scheduled on June 20 in Austin, Texas. Congratulations to Kimberly Perry and J.P. Arencibia on their new life together. Hopefully they will share some photos from the wedding so fans can see just how lovely it was.
