“General Hospital” fans have watched as the show has brought back several older characters. The show celebrated being on the air 50 years this year, and the writers have pulled out all the stops. For a little over two years fans have been left to wonder what happened to the character of Robin Scorpio Drake. That is about to change in just a few short weeks. According to an article posted August 21 by Soap Opera Digest, Kimberly McCullough has signed a contract to resume the role of Robin Scorpio Drake this fall.
It was presumed that Robin Scorpio Drake died in a lab explosion, but fans were shown otherwise weeks after the incident. Jerry Jacks has been holding Robin captive. While we are unsure of the reason, it looks like it is about to be discovered. When Robert Scorpio found his daughter in a Swiss hospital, he was given a lethal dose of medication in order to ensure he kept quiet about the discovery.
Now that Luke Spencer is part of the story arc, fans are speculating that he finds her. There haven’t been any details about McCullough’s return yet, but fans are excited. The “what ifs” are endless when it comes to the re-introduction to Port Charles. Will she remember her husband and child?
