Kimberley Dahme best known for her time as bass player and vocalist for the iconic band BOSTON will be appearing in three different places at the end of this week in the Midwest.
The first show is presented by Peanut Butter and Jam Concert Series. This is happening on Thursday, August 29th and the first show actually kicks off at 11:30 a.m. This is the luncheon show in the park and it runs until 1:30 p.m. Kimberley will be heading off to a local radio station to do a live radio interview at 2:00 p.m. but she will be back for the dinner show that starts at 6:00 p.m. and runs until 8:00 p.m. This is a free concert and this is Kenosha’s 12th Anniversary of bringing this summer concert series to the general public.
The radio station website is: www.wlip.com – No matter where you are, you can tune in to listen at 2:00 p.m. central time on Thursday, August 29, 2013.
You can find out more about this event and the concert series by visiting them on the web at: http://www.kenoshacvb.com/events/peanut-butter-jam-concert-series
On Friday, August 30th, and Saturday August 31st, 2013, Kimberley will be appearing and performing with the full band, “Gone Country.” These shows will take place at The Rustic Inn, 108 North Water Street, Wilmington, Illinois
There phone number is 815-476-7290 if you want to call for reservations for a table.
It is suggested that you get there by 9:30 so you can get a good seat. There is an opening act going on before Kimberley Dahme and Gone Country.
Gone Country is hard rocking band that as their name indicates, went Country.
They are a 6 piece band. They feature music of Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Sugarland and more. Band Members are: Rob Giess on guitar, Eddie Stauber on guitar, Alisha Balogi – vocals, Frankie Harchut on drums, Tony Dascola on guitar and Jeff Wallace on bass.
I do believe there is a cover charge, call the venue for that information.
The last shows before Labor Day are the shows you don’t want to miss. End the summer right. For more information on The Rustic Inn, visit their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rustic-Inn/157205845708
