Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burruss used to be close friends. Unfortunately, after years of working together on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and on Zolciak's music, their relationship took an ugly turn.
Last year, Burruss filed a lawsuit against Zolciak, claiming she wasn't properly compensated for her work on Zolciak's single, "Don't Be Tardy," which is also the name of her reality show. Although the suit was eventually thrown out, Zolciak isn't over the betrayal and doesn't plan on making amends anytime soon.
During a recent appearance on Andy Cohen's late night show, "Watch What Happens Live," via an Aug. 18 report by Wetpaint Entertainment, Zolciak responded to a caller, who wanted to know if there was any hope for their friendship. In response, Zolciak said, "No. You filed a lawsuit and the lawsuit wasn’t valid and it got thrown out, so no.”
In Oct. 2013, Burruss' lawsuit against Zolciak, in which she claimed to have only been paid $4,000 for her work, was thrown out by a judge, who ruled in Zolciak's favor. At the time, Zolciak had released a statement, claiming Burruss' suit, which came many months after the release of the song, was "without merit" and had suspicious timing, considering the premiere of Burruss' "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" spinoff, "The Kandi Factory."
Although it is certainly sad to see a friendship end, these two are currently busy with other things anyways. Currently, Zolciak is busy with her Bravo spinoff and her six kids with husband Kroy Biermann. Burruss is newly married and enjoying her music career and duties with "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
Another friendship that ended on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" was Zolciak's relationship with NeNe Leakes. However, unlike Zolciak and Burruss, she and Leakes were able to get their relationship back on track and are currently in a good place.
