Kim Zolciak's 50-lb weight loss in 5 months due to diet pills & cardio workouts

Kim Zolciak credits hour-long daily workouts and a portion-controlled diet for her 50-pound weight loss just four months after giving birth to twins, she told ABC News. "I've been working out with my husband, he kicks my butt," said Zolciak, who's married to Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann.

Zolciak who starred on the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" from 2008 to 2012, is the mom of six children: Twins Kaia and Kane (who were born in November 2013); sons Kroy, 2, and Kash, 1; and daughters Brielle, 16, and Ariana, 12.

As she did during her previous pregnancies, the Tardy for the Party singer shed most of her baby weight shortly after childbirth. In December 2013, Zolciak made headlines after revealing she was back to a size four just nine days after giving birth.

The busty 5-foot-8 Kim was immediately accused of getting a tummy tuck or other weight-loss surgery, but vehemently denied those rumors. Zolciak is not a health-food fanatic, and said portion control is what keeps her slim. "I eat what I want but I eat in moderation," she said.

An Hour of Cardio Exercise and Diet Pills

Kim, who said she hates to work out, does an hour of cardio exercise evercise daily and takes energy supplements to boost metabolism and suppress her appetite. “I take Xenadrine for energy to work out and do an hour of cardio each day," she told Life & Style.

Zolciak said working out with her NFL star husband has provided a lot of motivation. Biermann, 28, tore his Achilles tendon last year and has since stocked their home with exercise and rehab equipment.

Kim, a self-professed former couch potato, said she has learned a lot by watching her disciplined husband work out. "The mind of an athlete is like no other," she said. "This man is incredible. He pushes me and when it starts to burn, I won't quit and he won't let me."
