Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak Biermann showed off her 50-pound weight loss in a sizzling swimsuit photo she posted to Instagram.
Kim lost 50 pounds just seven months after giving birth to twins with hour-long daily workouts, Xenadrine diet pills, and a portion-controlled diet.
“I take Xenadrine for energy to work out and do an hour of cardio each day," Zolciak told Life & Style. Zolciak, a rep for Xenadrine, recently shot a new commercial touting the diet supplement for suppressing her appetite and boosting her metabolism.
Kim, who starred on the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" from 2008 to 2012, is the mom of six children: Twins Kaia and Kane (who were born in November 2013); sons Kroy, 3, and Kash, 2; and daughters Brielle, 17, and Ariana, 13.
As she did during her previous pregnancies, the Tardy for the Party singer shed most of her baby weight shortly after childbirth. In December 2013, Zolciak made headlines after revealing she was back to a size 4 just 9 days after giving birth.
The busty 5-foot-8 Kim was immediately accused of getting a tummy tuck or other weight-loss surgery, but vehemently denied those rumors. Zolciak is not a health-food fanatic, and said portion control is what keeps her slim. "I eat what I want but I eat in moderation," she said.
Kim, who said she hates to work out, does an hour of cardio exercise evercise daily with NFL star husband, Kroy Biermann, a defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons. Zolciak said exercising with her husband has provided a lot of motivation. Biermann, 28, tore his Achilles tendon last year and has since stocked their home with exercise and rehab equipment.
Kim, a self-professed former couch potato, said she has learned a lot by watching her disciplined husband work out. "The mind of an athlete is like no other," she said. "This man is incredible. He pushes me and when it starts to burn, I won't quit and he won't let me."
