Kim Zolciak and her parents had a falling out years ago which played out on Kim's special, "Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding," a spinoff of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," on which Kim starred for the first several seasons.
During the wedding planning process, Kim's mother was extremely unsupportive and caused her tons of grief during a time that she should have been able to enjoy, and when her big day rolled around, things with Kim's mom were taken to the extreme when she caused a scene and was thrown out of the wedding.
It was a major moment in both of their lives and one that neither party seems to have forgotten.
On last night's episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Kim discussed her relationship with both her mother, and her father, and according to her, things haven't gotten any better as of late. In fact, she hasn't spoken to her parents in three years!
"A fan called in to the Bravo talk show to ask Kim how things were with her mother, Karen. 'Have you guys talked yet?' the viewer asked. Zolciak replied 'no' with a bitter face," reported the UK's Daily Mail on March 17. "Host Andy then said, 'Wow!' and asked if the beauty had spoken to her father Joe. She again said no and refused to explain."
It's a shame that these two haven't spoken, but if they don't get along and only cause one another heartache and stress, perhaps it is for the best.
