Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak says people will do a lot for publicity and that includes Kandi Burruss. Slamming the producer and songwriter behind her song "Tardy For The Party" Wednesday, March 13, Zolciak claims Kandi tried to stop sales of the song before and failed.
"People will do anything for publicity. So funny yet so sad. If I owed her money why did she do another song. Kandi tried to pull the song down in December, on iTunes, but after I showed documents and proved points (the) song was immediately put back up," Zolciak said Wednesday, slamming a lawsuit Kandi filed in Georgia Tuesday.
As previously reported, Kandi filed a lawsuit and restraining order Tuesday, claiming that Kim Zolciak was in violation of copyright. She also asked that a temporary restraining order be granted to prevent sales and promotion of the song.
While Zolciak's claim that Kandi is using this for publicity might seem far fetched, the fact is that Kandi, like Kim, has a new reality series that is due to premiere in April.
Do you think this is one big publicity stunt to drum up interest in her show "The Kandi Factory"?
In related news, Kim Zolciak is officially done with "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." She reportedly appeared during the reunion show taping for season five and claimed to be very excited about her post show future.
"It was sad to say goodbye tonight I have such good memories these last five years, but I'm so excited about my future. I will be forever grateful," she shared Wednesday.
Are you happy to see Kim go?
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" continues Sunday night on Bravo.
