Reality star Kim Richards has finally revealed her new nose—to TV viewers, anyway. On the Feb. 18 episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the former child star hosted a nose “coming out” party after her “surprise” rhinoplasty surgery, complete with an espresso bar and iced coffee drinks. You can check out a clip from Kim’s nose reveal party here.
At the party, Adrienne Maloof made sure to announce the fact that her then-hubby, Dr. Paul Nassif, could have given Kim an equally impressive nose job. But according to Radar Online, the nose job storyline was totally scripted and paid for by Bravo.
A show source told Radar: “Kim’s nose job was NO surprise. She went to the same doctor that did Kyle’s oldest daughter Farrah’s nose job. She recommended him to Kim!”
This revelation is surprising, especially since Kyle Richards expressed surprise over Kim’s surgery and concern over her sister taking pain meds in light of her recent sobriety struggles.
On her blog for Bravo, Kim Richards admits that her surgeon, Dr. Grigoryants, came “highly recommended” by her sister Kyle.
“I met with Dr. Grigoryants who did an amazing job on my friend (plus he came highly recommended from my sister Kyle),” she wrote. “I felt comfortable with him and I'd seen his work now. And I knew he knew about noses!”
As for missing the other “Housewives” stars’ recent Vegas trip, Kim wrote: “I can't say I'm sorry I missed it! One more drama I missed! Sorry girls I'd rather be getting my nose done!”
In the Philadelphia area, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. on Bravo.
