Kim Kardashian announced on Friday that she will launch a new line of clothing, swimwear, lingerie, handbags and a home collection with her sisters in 2011. The new lifestyle brand announcement by Kim Kardashian comes off of the success of K-Dash by Kardashian which is a collaboration between Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian for QVC.
K-Dash by Kardashian is a clothing and handbag line sold exclusively on the home shopping channel named QVC. The handbags included in K-Dash by Kardashian are hobos, top handle satchels and a fringe, cross body mini bag.
Kim Kardashian’s new lifestyle brand in collaboration with her sisters will be slightly more upscale than the K-Dash by Kardashian line on QVC. Kim Kardashian’s line, which will debut in 2011, will be influenced by the designer brands the Kardashian sisters have been purchasing for their store Dash. The designers the Kardashian sisters buy for their store are brands and designers the sisters enjoy wearing themselves. Kardashian fans should expect the new line from Kim Kardashian to be reflective of how Kim, Khloe and Kourtney dress.
The handbag collection from Kim Kardashian’s new line may be influenced by the handbags she is regularly photographed wearing by the paparazzi. Handbag designers that Kim Kardashian enjoys wearing include Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Balenciaga.
