Kim Kardashian West's views differ from Kourtney Kardashian on being a mother

Kim Kardashian West told Mail Online in Cannes, France that she considers herself a strict parent.

Kim and her sister Kourtney are both parents, but they have a different set of rules on how to raise kids. Kim is a stickler for naptime and she believes that North has to sleep in her own crib. She does not want North to climb in bed with her and Kanye, except maybe on the weekend. She described Kourtney as being a more relaxed mother, because Kourtney doesn't have a problem with her kids climbing into bed with her to fall sleep.

Kim's thoughts concerning Kourtney, "Especially with the third baby coming, they're gonna need a bigger bed or they're gonna need some other rules.”

Kim said that she learned a lot from Kourtney to help her to become a better parent. However, Kim states that she has her own parenting style. "What I've learned is you just have to parent your way… whatever works for you and your household. It's hard to really give people a whole lot of advice when you just have to figure it out for yourself."

Kim wants to have one more child so North has a brother or sister close to her own age to play with, but she does not six kids like her mother, Kris Jenner has. Kim explained, "I grew up with a lot of sisters and a brother, so a lot of siblings, so I know what that's like. I don't know if I would really follow in my mom's footsteps and have six -- I think that's a little crazy, I don't know how they did it. They were in their twenties and they weren't really thinking right. But I like a big family so I would definitely like one more and see how that goes."

Kim doesn’t like planning too far ahead. She wants to enjoy life in the moment, especially with her daughter North. Time goes by too fast and she does not want to miss any of it with her daughter and new husband, Kanye.
