"Kim's working out up to three times a day and is counting the calories in everything, living on grilled fish, chicken and steamed vegetables," said a source. "She has dark circles under her eyes from the strain.

"She's desperate to be a size-zero bride, but it's making her tired, snappy and she's struggling to cope. She's admitted she'd barely eaten a carb for nearly four months."

Kim lost 50 pounds just five months after giving birth to daughter North (in June 2012) by following the low-carb Atkins diet, which limited her carb intake to less than 60 grams a day and calories to less than 2,200.

Kardashian's diet combines lean proteins like fish, chicken, and lean meats; healthy fats like olive oil, avocados and nuts; lots of fresh vegetables, and some low-glycemic fruits like berries.

Kim's weight-loss plan was a low-carb, high-fat ketogenic-style diet known for producing rapid weight loss. Kardashian also exercised almost every day, combining rigorous cardio workouts with strength-training.

Kim is proud of the hard work she has put in, and slammed rumors that she got weight-loss surgery. "I worked so hard to train myself to eat right and healthy," she said. "I work out so hard. I'm so proud of my accomplishment."

While Kardashian is thrilled with her weight loss, she recently admitted she wants to lose an additional 10 pounds and look great for her summer wedding to Kanye West.

"Kanye told Kim he doesn't want the weight loss to take over her life," said a source. "She's got so much on, he wants her to enjoy time at home with North when she's not working."
