Kim Kardashian understands racism

Kim Kardashian took to her Twitter and her blog to clear some things up over the last couple of days. She spoke about her baby as well as her upcoming wedding. Most recently and in conjunction with the racial controversy with Donald Sterling, owner of the LA Clippers, Kim expressed her reality with racism.

Even though she admits she never really gave it a thought until her daughter North West was born, she now is faced with it almost daily. On her blog she writes:

To be honest, before I had North, I never really gave racism or discrimination a lot of thought. It is obviously a topic that Kanye is passionate about, but I guess it was easier for me to believe that it was someone else’s battle. But recently, I’ve read and personally experienced some incidents that have sickened me and made me take notice. I realize that racism and discrimination are still alive, and just as hateful and deadly as they ever have been.
Kim goes on the state that the first thing she is going to do is “stop pretending”. She feels the responsibility not have children grow up in a world judged by color of their skin. In addition to Kim’s entry on her blog, she expressed frustration on Twitter about all the rumors of her upcoming wedding.

On May 24th, Kim Kardashian will marry Kanye West in Paris. She wants everyone to know that as of right now they have not wed. All the rumors are false and unless you hear it from them, do not believe it. Also she clears up the guest list and attendees of their glamorous wedding.

Stay tuned for the wedding details as Kim has expressed she will reveal up until and after but it will not be filmed for TV.
