Kim Kardashian’s latest effort to keep up her beauty regimen was a painful experience. On Sunday’s episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, Kim underwent a procedure known as a Blood Facial where they inject blood from another part of your body back into your face using acupuncture needles.
The scene was something out of a scary Hollywood movie showing the Reality star frowning and crying in pain with blood all over her face.
The procedure was performed by drawing blood from her arm by using nine tiny acupuncture needles and then placing that same blood back into her face all without numbing cream. No reason why she did not want to use numbing cream, maybe she wanted the procedure to seem more dramatic on TV. After the bloody procedure the doctors placed ice packs on her face to relieve the stinging and burning, much to Kim’s delight.
Oh the price of beauty! Maybe Kim wanted to give her Reality TV show a boost in ratings, but I’m sure she’ll never do a stunt like this again, even with numbing cream.
