Police were called the Jenner / Kardashian home in the Hidden Hills area of California. With Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kylie and Kendal Jenner home during the swatting prank call, the family was escorted out of their home in response to the 911 call.
The Kardashian / Jenner clan is just part of a growing number of celebrities who have recently been swatted including Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber, Simon Cowell, Charlie Sheen, Miley Cyrus and Ashton Kutcher.
According to Wikipedia ‘Swatting’ is an attempt to trick any emergency service (such as a 9-1-1 dispatcher) into dispatching any emergency response based on a false reporting of an incident. Incidents may range from large to small, from an entire SWAT unit to a fabricated police report meant to discredit an individual as a prank or personal vendetta. It is a misdemeanor or a felony in most states to report any untruth to law enforcement. The name 'swatting" as in "swatting a fly", derived from SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics), one type of such team.”
Kim Kardashian quickly took to her twitter and stated, “Just got a call from my mom telling me about this prank call that someone was shot in their home & 15 swat team & 3 helicopters showed up!” … “These prank calls are NOT funny! People can get arrested for this! I hope they find out who is behind this. Its dangerous & not a joke!”

The caller, identified only as a woman, called 911 claiming someone was shot inside a house and the suspects were still inside.
“It came out as a very serious call of possibly someone shot inside the home out here in the Hidden Hills area,” reported CBS2’s Stu Mundel.
“The Malibu sheriff’s’ took this very very seriously as they do any call of that type of caliber and they came out here in force,” Mundel said.
