Turning 33 years old, Kim Kardashian faces what experts are predicting will be her best year yet, reported E Online on October 21. Find out why that prediction revolves around her diet and fitness regimes.
Kim had a difficult pregnancy because of the public spotlight on her body. She was harshly criticized for her weight gain and unflattering choice of fashion. Kim admitted that oping with all that criticism during that time "completely destroyed" her, reported Us Weekly on October 21. But now she's able to put it all behind her with her new weight loss success.
After trying various diets to shed her baby weight, Kim has found a plan that she feels is healthy and works for her: Atkins, which she calls a "godsend."
"Atkins worked for me and I don't feel tempted to eat a bunch of junk food. It's just about staying healthy - it will come off," Kim said, showing that she feels positive about her future.
Now Kim can return to fitness, something that she's been so passionate about that she's even starred in her own fitness DVDs, such as "Kim Kardashian: Fit In Your Jeans by Friday: Butt Blasting Cardio Step."
Something new on her agenda that she loves: Pilates, reported E News on October 21. Kim trains at Pilates Plus in Studio City, Calif. with Kristi Vacanti.
"Pilates Plus is a fusion of pilates, weight training and circuit training and it's done to muscle failure with very little transition to keep your heart rate up," Vacanti explained.
For Kim, time-efficient fitness is essential, and Vacanti said that's what she provides.
"She's into toning and sculpting and getting in as much of a workout as she can in 55 minutes. People want to come in and get in a quick, fast-paced, calorie-burning workout in as little amount of time as possible," said the Pilates guru.
