December 28, 2011—In just less than a week, the world will ring in the New Year and 2012 will be in full swing. To help with the task, socialite Kim Kardashian has been commissioned to host the soiree at Tao in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel. She'll earn a hefty $600,000 for the event.

Here's a bit about what hotel guests can expect at the event, according to the Tao's website,
Celebrate New Year's Eve 2012 at TAO Nightclub, hosted by Kim Kardashian. Tickets include heavily passed hors d’oeuvres and open bar from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., followed by a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets also provide access to LAVO Nightclub in The Palazzo after midnight. Present your ticket stub at TAO Restaurant or LAVO Restaurant on New Year's Day to receive 10% off of your meal.
Kardashian isn't the only one who'll be making bank on New Year's Eve. The Herald Wire Service reports that Fergie will earn $100,000 to play at 1Oak at the Mirage Hotel and Casino.

Kim Kardashian biography
Kim Kardashian was born in October of 1980. She stars along with the rest of her family in the TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She keeps many irons in the fire—she's a socialite, actress, model, TV personality and businessperson.
In 2007, she modeled nude for Playboy as is the face model for Bingo Jeans. She's also appeared in advertising spots for Carl's Jr. and Sugar Factory Lollipops.
In 2009, Kardashian released a workout DVD series called Fit In Your Jeans by Friday. Kardashian, Fusion Beauty and the Seven Bar Foundation unveiled the “Kiss Away Poverty” Campaign. She has also been an ardent supporter of the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and has encouraged her fans to support the cause as well.
Her earnings made the news in 2010. Kardashian earned a reported $6 million that year from her various endeavors.
