Kris Humphries is bound and determined to have his day in divorce court where he wants to have his say about Kim Kardashian defrauding him and reveal her reality show as a fake. Apparently Kris wants this so much, that he’s willing to miss the NBA playoffs if need be, according to TMZ on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.
The judge has set the court date for Kim and Kris’s divorce, but if Kris's team, the Brooklyn Nets, make it to the playoff’s the divorce hearing falls on a date that will interfere with the games.
Kris will blow-off the playoff’s if this becomes the case because he’s waited so long to have the legal system hear his side of the story and set things straight. Kim and Kris’s divorce hearing is set for May 6 and if the Nets make the playoffs, Kris will be tied up from April 20- June 20.
According to TMZ, “Kris Humphries is hell-bent on humiliating Kim Kardashian.” Kris does have a few options other than blowing off the team during the playoffs if his team makes it into the games. He could settle the divorce case before it goes to trial or he can miss the trial if his team does make it to the playoffs, which wouldn’t fare well for his case in the divorce.
Apparently Kris is still very angry and has blinders on when it comes to getting his say in court, he is willing to do this no matter what comes his way, according to TMZ’s source.
This sounds a bit foolish on Kris’s part, as he’ll be putting his $24 million contract with the Nets in jeopardy when he doesn’t have a chance at winning a thing in court. The divorce case should be fairly cut and dry due to a prenup and the fact that the two only lasted 72 days together as husband and wife.
