Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting for the next film from Tyler Perry to hit theaters. On Thursday, the first photos from the set of his next film, The Marriage Counselor, were shared by Caught on Set. The photos feature Kim Kardashian. She will be making her big screen debut in the film. Check out the photos here.
In The Marriage Counselor, Kardashian will play a character named Ava. The woman will be a hairdresser that will give her friend a big city makeover which gives the woman new confidence. Kim revealed she was cast in the film just last month.
The reality star turned actress has been dealing with personal issues the last week with the news that she had filed for divorce from her husband of just two months, Kris Humphries. A source on the set had the following to say about Kim Karsdashian, according to the New York Daily News on Wednesday:
"She's being very quiet and isn't smiling very much. Kim has been reading a script and not being very social at all."
This is Kim's first true acting role, and fans are concerned about her being cast in the film. Many fans made their feelings known about her casting as soon as it was announced last month. Fans are still buzzing about the reality star, her life, and this film on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
I just realized that Christmas trees have been up in Walmart longer than Kim Kardashian was married. #72days
The Marriage Counselor is set for release to theaters in 2012.
