Kim Kardashian is taking heat for posting a photo of a diamond crested gun.
The backlash came fast and furious forcing the Socialite to quickly remove the photo from her account.
The photo of the gun appeared on Kim’s instagram account last week and immediately began receiving angry comments from her followers like this one --
"@KimKardashian you have too much influence to be this blind and ignorant. Innocent children & people still die even if the gun is pretty," wrote one follower.
Kardashian a proponent of gun reform had in the woke of the tragedy of Sandy Hook massacre asked her fans to speak out against gun violence and had even asked her followers to sign a pledge in support of firearm reform.
"Today, people in Newtown are making the #sandyhookpromise to reduce gun violence," she tweeted on Jan. 14. "Sign the pledge with me at sandyhookpromise.org,"
A spokes person for Kardashian said that the whole thing was just a misunderstanding. Kanye West defended his lady posting on his account --
"Kim Kardashian posted a pic of a gun on Instagram & now everyone is all pissed off.
I forgot the 2nd amendment didn't count for celebs," tweeted another follower.
