Kim Kardashian sat through a nine-hour “secret” deposition at her attorney, Laura Wasser’s office in Los Angles, Tuesday, March 19. And according to TMZ, the very pregnant Kim is hitting back at estranged husband Kris Humphries' claim that she only married him for publicity.
Kris Humphries' divorce attorney, Lee Hutton, apparently grilled Kimye throughout the deposition. Hutton attempted to probe for evidence that would prove the Kardashian-Humphries marriage was a complete scam and that Kim Kardashian only married Humphries to boost ratings for “Keeping Up With Kardashian,” therefore defrauding Kris. It’s well known that Kris Humphries is seeking an annulment, although he didn’t bother to show up for Tuesday’s deposition.
But Kim testified under oath that her intentions were genuine when she accepted Kris' marriage proposal and that she “really did love [Kris],” despite the fact that the marriage only lasted for 72 days. The couple married on August 20, 2011 and on October 31, 2011, Kim filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. While Kris is aiming for an annulment based on a count of fraud, sources reported to TMZ that the nine-hour deposition didn’t help Humphries’ case. Only time will tell when the case goes to trial on May 6.
