The Kim Kardashian and Kanye West pregnancy is eclipsing everything else in the news. Today, Dec. 31, 2012, Kim Kardashian used her Facebook to speak to her fans about her pregnancy. She posted this:
It's true! Kanye and I are expecting a baby!! bit.ly/YFb3LA New year, new beginnings!
If you follow the link she posted, you are led to her blog on Celebuzz to a post with a beautiful black and white photograph of the couple apparently stealing kisses in a coatroom somewhere. Here is the short paragraph that she posted there:
It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo
Any news media that you pick up is covering the announcement made last night by Kanye West at a concert. RadarOnline has the story:
Kanye, looking out at more than 5,000 concertgoers, said, "Stop the music and make noise for my baby mama … now you having my baby!" Kim -- who was at the concert -- is 12 weeks pregnant and reportedly did not know her hip hop beau was going to make the news public that night.
Here are a few editorial notes that I feel I must add. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not married. Kim Kardashian is still married to Kris Humphries. It is curious that she feels it necessary to only be with men whose names begin with a "K."
