Kim Kardashian is reportedly majorly irate at Katie Couric after the talk show host slammed her in an In Touch interview Thursday, this despite sending her and Kanye West a baby gift for North recently. Kim, 32, wrote to Katie on Instagram not to "talk s--t" if she's going to pretend to be nice. Kardashian also posted a hashtag that read "I hate fake media friends", according to TMZ on Saturday, Aug. 17.
Kim Kardashian just responded to Katie Couric's In Touch interview, in which Katie said of the Kardashian clan, "I don’t understand - why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested".
Kim is not happy about Katie's opinion, posting an image of the gift Couric sent to her for baby North West, including the hashtag about fake media friends, and one that reads, and "May I humbly suggest you not send gifts then talk s--t".

Couric, 56, promptly backpedaled after Kim K's posting calling her out on Friday, saying "I’ve met Kim before and I think she's a really sweet person.
"I was responding to a reporter’s question, and explaining how I’m intrigued by the public’s fascination with her family", Katie said in a statement, according to the Daily News.
Katie went on to say she didn't mean to hurt Kim's feelings, and emphasized that her gift was genuine. "I’m happy for Kim and Kanye (West)", Couric added.
However, its interesting to note the veteran newswoman didn't appear to proofread her own note, as it was missing words in places and truncated the baby’s name, reducing it to just "no" instead of North.
The baby's nickname is actually "Nori".
