Kim Kardashian recently tweeted a photo of her painful-looking acupuncture treatment. The Daily Mail reported on March 24 that the pregnant reality star shared of a photo of herself on her Twitter account of her face covered in needles.
"Oh, just relaxing," Kim tweeted last Saturday along with the close-up Instagram photo of herself undergoing the traditional Chinese practice. Even though acupuncture isn't supposed to be physically uncomfortable, the needles sticking out of her face certainly appeared that way.
In the photo, 32-year-old Kardashian is shown with her eyes closed and at least 18 needles sticking out of her fully made up face. Acupuncture is said to help treat symptoms of morning sickness associated with pregnancy. The treatment is recommended to ease stress and nausea while avoiding traditional drugs while pregnant.

Kim, who is five months pregnant, also recently shared another one of her painful and bizarre beauty treatments on her reality show. In a recent episode of "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami", Kim was shown receiving a blood facial treatment. The $1500 "Vampire Facelift" removes fine lines and acne scars and promises younger, firmer-looking skin.
