Kim Kardashian has sold her mansion in Beverly Hills for $5 million, and she included all the furniture in the deal. What? Her custom-built make-up table and vanity dresser have gone to a new owner? Yes, reports Daily Mail on Saturday, Feb. 16. The deal appears to be signed.
In fact, Kim Kardashian has sold every item of the mansion’s luxurious furniture, right down to the rugs on the floor. She shared this house with soon-to-be-ex Chris Humphries, and the reality star probably wants a clean start. Who would want to set up a new relationship on top of one that failed so spectacularly?
Not to mention that sometimes throwing in everything in sight can help to close a deal, and she probably wants all new stuff anyway, in the much-larger home she and Kanye West are renovating. The buyer gets a turn-key arrangement, and everyone is happy.
This way, it won’t be much trouble to move out. Kim Kardashian just needs to pack some boxes with the personal items and hit the road. The new owner can bring in his own boxes of belongings and start putting things away.
Kim Kardashian bought the Mediterranean-style house in 2010, for $4.8 million. This probably means she took a slight loss on the furniture, but luxury homes are not selling well, and she can afford to write off the difference. The house had a pool, of course, but the new one will have an infinity pool that’s bigger and better. The new house even has a library, in case Kim and Kanye want to spend cozy evenings reading. And, of course, a nursery.
